Does Anyone Else Have A Vitamin D Deficiency??
Hi there! My rheumatologist said... when he got my test results back and had ruled out other possible causes for my symptoms as soon as he saw I had a severe vitamin D deficiency and along with all my other ailments and symptoms, fibromyalgia flashed up like a red flag, as he said the 2 go hand in hand. Has anyone else had this? I started on an extremely high dose of vitamin D and it already helps as I noticed my pain was really out there!
@A MyFibroTeam Member. It's so important to get a doctor who understands fibromyalgia. I'm under a rheumatologist and he seems to know an awful lot about it he gave me an information booklet put me on pain Meds and vit d supplements and is sending me to see an occupational therapist. Let me know how you get on :)
I'm on 1000 mgs. of Vitamin D twice a day. Was never told WHY? I have not noticed that the Vit. D has helped in any way. I have been on it for quite some time now. I will ask my doctor when I see him in Feb.

Yes Me too 5000 mg vitD and injections for vit B
Yes just received the doctors office and my vitamin D very low. Put me on 2000 mg of D.
