Flares are as individual as we are, in the sense that it strikes any part of the body affected ... It can range from mild pins and needles and progress to horrendous pain or just be straight off the bat pain ... Swollen joints, stiff joints, painful muscles, whole areas ... Etc .. But the point is .. To relax as much as you feel you can throughout your day, still calmly when you can ... Don't overcrowd your mind and just got want of a better way to say this "chill out" .. Take medications and maybe a hot hot bath and just wait for it to pass... Working through a flare will make it longer :( xx

The more I do the worse the recovery is. I am on 5-8 min task and 1 hour recovery. So if I see a friend recovery is about 3-5 days. An out of town dr appt is about 2weeks recovery. A major stress and up to one month recover.

Mine go anywhere between 2 days and two weeks. Mood (stress) and weather are key factors for me. This condition is such a random daily mess. Some days you get the yummy dark chocolate clusters and some days you get the gross cherry chews.

Mine can last over a week when it's severe, every symptom at once with a high intensity. I've known them to last up to two weeks or more. But they can also just last a few days and then calm down. There is no set order to this illness which makes it very frustrating, as well as the fact one cannot plan around it. It will pass, but while you are going through it, it can be utterly hellish. I hope yours passes quickly. Love Rose x

It can be anything from days, weeks, months even years. My longest lasted around 7 months. But I've been in a flare since September as I started college then. Hope your flare goes soon
