I start my meals with fruits or vegetables., (fresh, cooked or canned) makes no difference. There's acids in them that aides in our digestion process. So by eating these first before the heavier foods lmaet, potatoes , pastas etc) it gives digestion a kick start and doesn't allow the extra calories , fats, etc to grab ahold and stick around. The pther thing is drink a glas s of milk before you go to bed. Theres a chemical found in cold that fights fat our body stores only when we're sleeping. I know both of these things sound crazy but they really do work. I lost approx 60 lbs in less than a year and not once was I every hungry. I still eat my meat and potatoes and pasta and have stayed consistently between 135-145 lbs.

I take a combination: CLA,Cinnamon,Cayenne,Grapeseed complex and B-12. AS FIBRO. patients know, you are told to be active. We also know it can be heck to do. So I supplement and eat carbs that are beneficial to what my body needs, healthy fats, water with lemon and apple cider vinegar to help detox. This helps balance, that I can no longer be that hard core fitness person I used to be.

I have been having trouble losing weight also. I have heard people say that Gabapentin causes weight gain. It isn't listed as a side affect and my doctor said he couldn't see where Gabapentin would do that. So, not sure if that is true or not but I know I have a hard time with my weight. Of course I also am 73 years old and am not as active as I once was, because of several medical conditions. I know I should eat more veggies and fruit which I don't and I am a sugar addict, so I can see what my issues are, I just don't change them.
