Oh my god! That is absolutely shocking! Did you report the doctor? He should not be speaking to you that way they are suppose to be there to help you, I know how you feel Hun I was told it was all in my head, it makes you feel so down and drained because people can't see or understand just how we feel
You are not a lost cause, your doctor is. His attitude is very common in the medical community. That is changing (slowly) as more is learned about chronic pain. You need to find a doctor who specializes in treating fibromyalgia and/or chronic pain. There are many options for treatment. You just need to find a doctor with experience in treating your issues, and don't be afraid to ask up front if they have that experience.
tell him to find a better job , he is not a Dr . if he can not listen and help his patients , tell him to screw off. Don't let those kind of people get you down you know what is happening with you and your not making it up . find a different Dr until you find one you like. If he would have said that to me I would have gotten in his face.
@GraceTaylor and the young girl who had the problem with her doctor. OMG - - I know the feeling. They make you feel like a second-class-citizen. I've worked for doctors all my career - - never would any of my doctor's talk to a patient like that. I had that same problem when I first came down with this dreaded disease. I would feel sick knowing I had to go to him. I finally made up my mind (God helped me) to make an appointmentt with the Pain Management Clinic - - all they deal in is managing pain.
I feel like a brand new person. I have a Pain Patch that I change ever 7th day and after the hell on earth I went through I feel like I died and found Heaven. I am so grateful to have changed to the Pain Management Clinic.
My Dr won't give me anything for pain my left hip area is swollen and painful to sit I spent 5 hrs in emergency 4 xrays for them to say nothing is wrong and left with anti inflammatory pills wow do much pain in this rain😫😫😫
