Does Anyone In This Group Who Lives In Eugene Oregon Know Of A Good Therapist Who Understands This Condition & Also Any Good Doctor?
I have seen a few doctors here who haven't been terribly helpful.
I am starting to work with the 3rd MD soon & will be seeing my Neurologist soon & Dermatologist to figure out s
There is a shortage of doctor's in general let alone ones who specialize in fibro. Do u know about Portland?
@A MyFibroTeam Member yeah I know. The doctors situations up here are wait, wait, and wait. It's not worth it. And that's if you can find one taking new patients. My husband is diabetic and he is also driving to Springfield when needed for his check ups. Miles wise..It's still within our network perimeter so it works for now. I hope you have good results!!🙂🙂
ok, good for me to know. I will see how it goes with the next MD and see how that goes. Thx for the info. That is too bad for you that you have to drive so far to see a decent doc.
@A MyFibroTeam Member Well I do like the way he really listens and he doesn't try to put me on a bunch of meds if I don't need them. Keeps the communication going to make sure things are going well with something we are trying and I just love his staff. I only see him about every six months now..And with it being a 45 min drive down there for me I haven't gone to the pool yet but he reminds me when I see him haha that I should.
Hi Delrea, How has Dr. Maier helped you with your fibro?
Do you go to the Tamarack pool?
I live very close by to it. Maybe we could meet sometime over there?
What do you think?
