I made cold packs out of mens socks (they must be soft) filled with Rice tied a knot in end and put in the freezer till cold, then lay it where it pains. I can't take the heat when I am in a flare up.oh and a very soft sheet to cover with. good luck

I live on my heating pad. I thought about getting a heated throw but wasn't sure how hot it gets. The hotter the better for my body's pain. I also tan for the heat and my depression and eczema
