I Don't Understand When Ppl Say They're Having A Flare. Are Yall Not In Constant Pain Like I Am? I'm In Pain All The Time!
A flare means that your symptoms are worse for a while, then goes back to your normal pain etc.
Good morning, for me I’m in pain but not a lot of pain. When I have severe pain in my body. My joints, skin, hair, even my teeth hurts. I have severe fatigue to go along with it. I consider that a flareup.
Years ago my doctor was treating me for anxiety and depression. She gave me two antidepressants and that helps my all over body pain. I still have chronic pain in my neck, shoulders and upper arms. Also I now have osteoarthritis too. I'm now 69 years old and was diagnosed 24 years ago.
Moving and getting exercise helps me the most.
I hope you are having a good day. Huggs
I can only articulate what my flare ups feel like. Imagine the worst flu you ever had with body aches heck even my hair hurts. The only thing I can do is lay in bed under my heated blanket it’s awful. I can be like that for a day, a week or even longer. I find if I listen to my body it doesn’t last as long as it used to. I have pain daily for sure which is never gone but it doesn’t put me down like the flare up does. I hope this helps answer the question
