Hi there Warrior! I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, Sjogrens, Degenerative Disc Disease, HBP, IBS, Hashimoto Thyroiditis, Hypothyroiditis...etc for well over 40 years. Anyway, the strange thing is this: I was never referred to a Neurosurgeon but I found one on my own. I had severe deterioration in both my neck and back, I had two operations for my neck (4 discs replaced out of 7) and for my back (the last 2 discs replaced). I feel like that much of my pain may be alleviating, but I am swelling alot. My pain has been over my entire body, especially my neck, spine, shoulder, arms and legs (even my head and scalp, ears, teeth, hands and feet). Sometimes, even touching the hair on my head would hurt.

Now I must deal with the other diseases. Sjrogen's is one of them. Sjögren’s (“SHOW-grins”) is a systemic autoimmune disease that affects the entire body. Along with symptoms of extensive dryness, other serious complications include profound fatigue, chronic pain, major organ involvement, neuropathies and lymphomas. My parotid glands keep swelling and I have swollen lymph nodes that haven't been treated or have been ignored. May God move by His Ruach Spirit of Mass Healing over the entire Medical Fields for all who wish to live a normal life of health and happinesss in this world.

Sjrogen's Syndrome Foundation states: Although many patients experience dry eyes, dry mouth, fatigue and joint pain, Sjögren’s also cause dysfunction of organs such as the kidneys, gastrointestinal system, blood vessels, lungs, liver, pancreas, and the central nervous system. Patients also have a higher risk of developing lymphoma. Today, as many as four million Americans are living with this disease.

With upwards of 4,000,000 Americans suffering from Sjögren’s, it is one of the most prevalent autoimmune diseases. Nine out of 10 patients are women. https://www.sjogrens.org/home/about-sjogrens

Hello. My Rheumatologists told me that it was the cousin to Lupus. The same symptoms pretty much.

@A MyFibroTeam Member I had to look this up on the internet. I had never heard of it.
Sjögren's syndrome (say "SHOH-grins") is a disease in which the immune system attacks the glands that make moisture for the body, such as tears and saliva. The damage keeps the glands from working the way they should and makes your eyes and mouth dry.

Hi, This is just a short one I found on the internet:

Sjögren's syndrome
About
Symptoms
Treatments
Woman looking out a window while experiencing dry, irritated eyes.
An immune system disorder characterised by dry eyes and dry mouth.
Treatment can help, but this condition can't be cured
Requires a medical diagnosis
Lab tests or imaging often required
Chronic: can last for years or be lifelong

I have suffered from this for years but don't know if it's caused by Fibro.
