Glad you made an appointment with your urologist. A lot of people don’t have signs or symptoms of kidney failure till it’s to late. Keep us posted!!!

This may sound stupid but try to eat cranberries and lots of water best are fresh ones ofcourse, omeprazol is strong but I use it sometimes when my stomach hurts from my meds! Or stress, once a day, Do your kidneys hurt I didn't read all that was answered on your question, when you take meds your levels can be higher then normal easily and in fact there are lots of of people that have high levels and they don't even know it! Just saying....Good luck!

That can cause calcium buildup in your kidneys too. If you take too much, but I understand why you do. Basically, after ton of blood work my calcium oxalates were high which in my case turned out to be a decent size kidney stone. If your body doesn’t produce enough urine (usually from not drinking enough water) your kidneys can’t break down and filter properly. What begins to happen is calcium buildup will happen and crystallized into a stone. Honestly, I could have passed it off as pain from fibromyalgia because the pain wasn’t horrible due to the location of the stone inside my kidney. It was after the lithotripsy that the stone was able to break up, like someone shooting at a stack of pool table is when I had major issues.

I know that the only way to find out “if” you have a stone is through an image usually via CT scan without dye. That point a radiologist, urologist and of nephrologist will be able to rule out possibilities of a stone or other kidney diseases. It’s a fight emotionally, mentally, financially and physically to find out what you have going on. I have severe depression, insomnia and anxiety waiting to see a specialist for that now. Trust me I rather sleep in after a night of struggling to fall asleep or stay asleep, than sit in another doctor office waiting for my name to be called. I’m not sure whether any one needs to read this, but if it can help one person then it’s worth it!!!

Mine was really low. Can’t remember exactly what it was. Caused from nexium and NSAIDs. After I quit taking these it got better.

My nephrologist told me to never takeNSADS. Again and I have suffered without them. He would say no Celebrex. I'm still on Omeprosol for stomach issues. Put a brick or two under each post at the head of your bed. That will raise your upper body and help with reflux. Don't eat before bed. Sweets are terrible for my stomach. Hope this helps
