Do You Get The Feeling Of Impending Doom Out Of Nowhere?

I hate this feeling and it makes me very uncomfortable but it is this creeping darkness and my nerves feel very bad and frayed......who knows......

I understand. I was a RN for 30 yrs, now this with other chronic illnesses. Even with people I care for , educated just don't understand the helplessness that can ensue with all Fibro does to us. I appreciate your post.... Randi M

Yes! My anxiety gets really bad when my pain level is really high and I feel like I can't breathe. I was using my rescue inhaler and it wasn't helping my breathing...wound up in urgent care twice over it and they couldn't figure it out because my oxygen saturation levels were good. Tried different asthma medications and still nothing. Well, during a really awful flare, I took a Xanax and lo and behold, my breathing settled down. Turns out, it was just a bad panic attack brought on by pain. Talk to your Dr to rule out any actual breathing issues, then.discuss maybe using an anti -anxiety medication when that feeling hits and is not alleviated by other measures. ❀ Healing energy being sent your way! 😊🌼🌻

@A MyFibroTeam Member i have been taking ativan 2mg 3x a day for 6 years.now that helps with my panic attacks and keeps me good and calm but when im in a very severe flareup i feel like im losing my mind like when my sugar drops quickly im also a type 2 diabetic which i have to go to the er from time to time for the pain for both conditions then the intake nurse starts rolling his eyes at me for a split second they look at you like all your there for is to get drugs like im some kind addict for 4 mg of morphine and a shot of liquid ativan it is like they do not believe that you are in a severe fibromyalgia flare up at its worst form on those attacks i feel like im dying but once they call my dr i get what i want with no questions asked because he knows that im in such severe pain he is fibro friendly but if you need info on what i know about fibro meds and what works and what does not just let me know because i study about what medications help fibro because im in constant pain 24hrs a day and i want to cure myself i take 18 meds a day for all of my conditions sorry if i ranted so long but i mean well god bless i will pray for you have a nice night and take care

Oh yes and that is the worst feeling ever. I used to fear going into that black hole. What i called it. Came out of no where!! You are not alone
