I've been out of work since Sept. 2016 and still waiting on a hearing

@A MyFibroTeam Member. It does take a long time. My attorney told me that mist of the time you get denied 1 or 2 times. Then takes months. You have to reapply. But i no some people and it depends a lot on your age and what is wrong with you. I m gonna be 55 next week and i quit my job. My drs. Would not put me out of work. My sister n law is 61 and was diganosed with depression she got it within 6 months. Although if i do get it. It will be recoactive from the time i stopped working.

We in South Africa must have a disability that they can see otherwise it is one hell of a struggle to get anything from our goverment

I have applied and have a hearing coming soon. My fibro started because of a car wreak so it was a sudden thing for me. I have not been able to work since 2014
