Hi all. As you will see from my story i do not have a diagnosis but something is niggling me that i have fibro, i have lots (most) of the main symptoms. Apologies if anyone is offended by me not having a diagnosis and using this forum.

Anyway, for most of my adult life i have had many of the symptoms but just got on with it. I was put on sertraline due to my anxiety and recently came off this and this is when it all went downhill fast.

I’m glad you aren’t having the anxiety anymore, I do hope you find some relief from the pain and answers that you’re looking for! Do you see a primary care doctor? If you do or are able to see one I’d set up an appointment with them and see if they can help you sort through all the pain 💜💜

Hi JHollows.

I dont think it could have caused it but that the sertraline covered the symptoms as it can be used for treatment. If you get what i mean.

I can't say that Sertraline causes fibromyalgia. Lots of people have this illness and they don't all take Sertraline.

I find Sertraline really helps my energy levels and depression I get and have had a long time before being diagnosed with fibromyalgia. I haven't had any side effects when I have breaks apart from feeling low again. If it helps, continue taking it. I am sure any side effects would occur whilst taking it not coming off it and very often those side effects settle.
I hope this helps.
