I found this book very helpful when I was first diagnosed. Although it says “women”the information is relevant to anyone that has been diagnosed.
The FIBRO MANUEL by Ginevra Liptan, M.D.
I wrote a book! It’s on Amazon. It’s more about how to cope with Fibro spiritually:
https://www.amazon.com/Keeper-Your-Life-Activel...
Oh My Gosh YES I Do......EVERYONE ON THIS SITE SHOULD HAVE IT......
Its called FIBROMYALGIA & CHRONIC MYOFASCIAL PAIN, A SURVIAL MANUAL by Devin Starlanyl and Mary Ellen Copeland and many more experts in the field.
I have purchased at least 10 and given them out to my Dr.'s and any one else that treats me, as most don't even have a clue. Fibro. You can right now go to eBay and buy one or I should say you or anyone else with FIBRO MUST get this
book. I got mine at Hastings for $24.95...eBay $ 6.50.
You owe it to your self. When I got mine, my husband said I should get a pencil, start at the first page read and underline, you will see what I mean. This book will be your life companion and will always be. It is so easy to read and flows so nicely done with a since of humor and as you go you will see how it pertains
to you. Remember this FIBRO HAS NO CURE & IT WON'T KILL YOU.
Get a good Dr. that is not afraid to prescribe meds for your pain,
No One should be in pain (CRONIC) there is a deference. It's all in the BOOK.
Good Luck Jilljo
