Supplements/foods - Things I Can Do At Home?
I have tried PT - I have found it ineffective. I have Infra red light - not sure how to use it. Also have natural sun type lights, not sure how to use them. I am not at all interested in drugs. Interest in natural therapies but insurance is not supportive, can do some out of pocket?

Remember to-take calcium for the osteopenia. Ask doctor π€
I find reading any books you like helps a lot. It makes you chill & helps with stress. If you finding holding a book difficult then try audio books, I have found them brilliant, & also use them to help me get to sleep.
@A MyFibroTeam Member bibliotherapy the way I do it anyway is reading self-help or educational or encouraging non-fiction books as a form of therapy. Sometimes I feel like I get more help from a book I can study than an actual therapist. My favorites are
Complex PTSD: From Surviving to Thriving: A Guide and Map for Recovering from Childhood Trauma by Pete Walker, and The Body Keeps the Score: Brain, Mind, and Body in the Healing of Trauma by Dr. Bessel van der Kolk. These and many other books have really helped me heal and grow. Hope this helps ππ©·π
I used to bury myself in books when borders book store was welcoming. I would have a pile of books around me for reference cross reference (health alternative books). I wouldn't buy them but I always bought at least 1 music CD. For not chasing me out and making me feel welcome I spent 1000's on music coffee etc. I was never a book collector just a reader. Then borders became unfriendly and closed down in many if not all locations. Any who my vision sucks now so it is pretty much youtube videos/movies and surfing.
For sleep I take 5 mg of Source Naturals Melatonin and cbd and a small amount of thc in gummy and tincture form.
I am trying a combo supplement from GNC with glucosamine, chondroitin, MSM and Hyralonic Acid and it seems to be helping with pain!!!
I also take a lot of vitamins and minerals and a pre and probiotics and digestive enzymes.
I also just started hormone replacement therapy even though I am on the border of being too old for itβ¦.to try and strengthen my bones because I have osteopenia.
Hope this helps!
My Question Is- Does Anyone Else Feel Like They're Being Stabbed With A Pin When They're Resting? Or Is It Just Another Symptom Of Fibro??
