How Do You Cope With The Dizziness?
I’ve been dealing with dizziness and vertigo for 1 year. I’ve had a MRI but it was normal, I’ve had an EEG, again it’s normal. I’ve had blood work, also normal. So now they tell me it’s part of fibromyalgia. They’ve started me on Lyrica to deal with it. But it’s not enough, so how do you deal/cope with dizziness?
II have started to lower the dosage of the gabapentin. We will see if it helps the dizziness. The only thing that really helps for me is acupuncture. This last spell I have had has been almost a week. I can walk and function but I have to keep my head upright. I cannot bend over or move my head side to side. If I do, it has to be very slowly. Along with fibro fog, it is a wonderful combination!
I have the dizziness and vertigo also. The doctor kept putting me on this and that med to help. Which they never did! Finally my doctor referred me to a chiropractor. I went three times and every since then I have only one episode. He told me to come back anytime the dizziness or vertigo came back. It is the only think that helps mine. Mine was so bad I was crawling to get places in my house or holding on to walls. It was horrible!
I had vertigo for over a year every day severe with no relief from meds. I saw a chiropractor and told him what was happening. He adjusted my neck and I've not had a single episode in over a year.
If you can how to physically counter the dizziness you can see improvement. Ask for exercises on balance, eye and otherwise.
