Hi Carol! My mom (bless her heart and attention) made one from scratch for me out of rice bags and sewed it together. I find that because of the rice it gets WAY too hot for me to sleep with all night, also because I run hot, but good for flares during the day. Some of the blankets come with more breathable glass like beads that are meant to also cool and I’d try looking at those to not get overheated. Seen some like this on amazon for about $60 opposed to the $300+ that some of them can be, might be worth a try. I would try to find one that emphasizes breathability though. Good luck!!
