Do any of you use CBD oil? If so, what brand is it? Where did you get it? How do you use it? How much does it cost?

Hi, yes. I use CBD oil. It was prescribed for me by my pain specialist, and they directed my prescription to Tweed. Where i continue to get my prescription. Your pain specialist will help you determine which kind of cannabis oil you should be on, and what dosage you should be on. It is definitely not an exact science, so you will likely need to try different doses until you find the one that works best for you. Tweed’s motto is, “ start low and go slow”. It costs approximately $9-10 Cdn per gram (8ml = 1gm). It has made a change in my pain. Please know cannabis has two parts: CBD for inflammation which causes pain, and THC to help with anxiety and depression, and sleep. CBD causes no “high” sensation. It’s the THC portion that MAY cause that. Originally, i started with 100% CBD which is called yellow cannabis oil, but because i also wanted help with my anxiety and depression, which are both severe, and help with sleep which i take medication for, my doctor added THC. I am currently using blue cannabis oil which is approximately 50/50 CBD/THC. The CBD portion is slightly higher. I have not reached my maximum allowable dose because it is expensive and currently not covered by my husband’s health plan. I have no coverage of my own as i am no longer able to work (many other health issues too). So, i am budgeting the amount i take. I’m sure that if i was able to take the exact amount that was right for me, the benefits I’m currently receiving from its use would be much better. I hope that it will be covered by my husband’s health plan soon. Also, although THC MAY cause a high sensation, i have not experienced that at the amount i am currently taking. I don’t know whether that will change when i eventually reach the optimal dose for me, but i have heard that it usually doesn’t cause a high. However, we all know our bodies react differently to everything so that may be different for you. Therefore, if you are prescribed cannabis, please follow the golden rule, “start low and go slow”. Lastly, cannabis oil doesn’t taste great (i take it sublingually). Tweed is just now offering a soft gel cap which i will be switching to on my next order. I truly believe that cannabis will be of great benefit to anyone who suffers from a chronic pain disease and certain mental health diseases...it will allow you to slowly remove other medications you may be taking (or have been taking for a very long time) that could have long term detrimental effects on other parts of your health. Caution: do not start to wean off any medication without speaking with your doctor first. You may make things much worse for yourself. I hope this has been helpful for you. I wish you great success on your journey to restoring some semblance of health to your life...sending you gentle hugs and my prayers.

I went to a pain clinic in a close by city and got approved to take it and the doctor figured out what strains to try and the amounts! It wasn’t working so talked to the nurses at the clinic and we tried different dosages! Still wasn’t working so I bought a stronger one but made me so high I couldn’t handle it and just stopped all of them! I was so hopeful this was going to be the answer to deal with my pain but to no avail but I am so happy I tried it to put my mind at ease cause I thought about it for a long time! It does work for some people though so I think it’s worth a shot! What have you got to lose other than a bit of money! Good luck!

I just started using the CBD oil. I tried taking it by mouth for a couple of days. Unfortunately, I couldn't tolerate the throat irritation. Now, I combine the CBD oil with a few drops of peppermint oil. I warm it by rubbing my hands together, and I massage it everywhere. I say my prayers as I am doing this. Most of the time, it works for me.
I use CV SCIENCES unflavored brand. Sorry, my bottle has seen better days!

I don't want the high from THC, but I am willing to try it. It can't be much worse than the euphoric, goofy feeling and insomnia that I get when I take Tylenol #3.

It lasted about a month but I took half a dropper two to three times a day as pain is different daily 😊
