Anyone else have this? For a while we thought there might be something wrong with my ears because I struggle to understand convos in places with background noises, but my hesring tests came back fine. I simply cant focus. But now my ears feel very full and uncomfortable about once or twice a day. Does anyone else get this? Im still trying to understand fibro as its on the radar of my doc, and Im hoping whatever it is thats wrong with me (really hoping its nothing) will just fit all my symptoms… read more

Yeah I get this as well, I've actually had ENT problems since I was a child, I even went almost deaf for 6 weeks when I was in my 20's (nasty infection). My ears get sore a lot both inside and out, mainly the right ear and I also have some hearing loss in the right ear. I have tinnitus and have had that for years.

See if your GP will help you, I need to go and speak to one about my ears... again.

My left ear is deaf. The Dr. called it "sudden Hearing loss" I woke up one day very dizzy & my ear felt plugged up. I will never get my hearing back in left ear. I can still hear out of my right ear but have lost 20% in that one. It's just another thing that people can't see and roll their eyes as if I'm stupid when I ask them to repeat something. Everyone in my circle of family & friends know about it but often forget to look at me & speak up. Jus another frustration to deal with this illness. I am used to it now.

My ears would get like that sometimes really bad .. I started gettin that feeling of them needing to pop and also I get a pain that I can only explain it as though a knitting needle has suddenly been shoved into my ear ... I must warn you that if you are flying anywhere make sure you put ear plugs in etc etc because not long after I started taking these symptoms I was coming back from holidays and on the decent I was doubled over clutching my ear crying my eyes out with the intensity of the pain

@A MyFibroTeam Member you sound similar to me I had an operation on my right ear to improve my hearing when I was a kid as the eardrum wasn't great. I still don't have 100% hearing in my right ear and they also get sore sometimes.

I get ringing in the ear sometimes, but it doesn't last for too long luckily and a lot of wax build up where I have to clean my ears often or they get blocked.
