I tried 2 ketamine infusions at a clinic in Denver about a year and a half ago (I believe each infusion was 4 or 6 hours or something crazy like that) but unfortunately it didn't help me with my pain or depression. I was supposed to do 3, but they told me that if I wasn't getting results yet that it wouldn't be worth it. I know that studies have shown positive results with it. Medicines don't generally work very well on me so it might be the reason that the Ketamine didn't.

I had the option to do several half hour infusions too, but I had to fly to the clinic so I wanted to get them over with faster, it was definitely not fun (though luckily I slept through part of it, it gave me weird dreams though haha). I really hope it works for you! :)

Thank you Georgia. I’m sorry that the treatment didn’t work for you. Medicine doesn’t really work well for me either but I thought I’d give this a try. The infusions now only take a half hour...thank god I won’t have to sit there for 4 hours!

I have tried Cymbalta two different times but too many side affects to tough it out. I had a lot of nausea and actually fainted a couple of times. So back on Neurontin and does help nerve pain. Here lately I am having swollen feet, legs and hands. Never had swelling before so trying to figure out what medicine is causing the issue. A lot of my pain right now is in my hip and legs to the point of hard to be mobile. This disease will slowly suck the life right out of you and no body wants to believe in Fibro. This week my memory has been bad and affects my work ethics. Any suggestions on the swelling??

Been on duluxetine for many years. It does help.
