Skin Discoloration And Bruising

Does anyone have unexplained bruising and discoloration on thier arms from wrist to shoulder ? Any ideas how to get rid of it?

My mom's skin looks like this. She has a blood disease called Von Willebrands. You may want to look into that.

as we age our skin thins .. minor bumping into things causes brusing like im seeing here ,, my 80 year old mom would have bruises like this ,, but be on the safe side and check with your dr

Are you on any blood thinners, NSAIDs like ibuprofen or aspirin? They cause easy bruising. I get bruises like that but not quite as bad. If your on blood thinners your doctor might want to draw some blood work.

I also have this and I am on prednisone.They put me on it last year when they thought it PMR. Now they say its fibro and I am on other meds but can't seem to ween off the prednisone.My dr did take me off the baby asprin I had been taking and they are startin to fade but not go away.

I have always bruised easily and it seems more often since turning 50.
Nowhere near like what you show in the photo.. I am quite concerned for you. Please keep us posted if you find out what is causing the issue.
