Does Anyone Else Have Episodes Like This...? Bright Lights Make Them Nauseous And Vomit, Smells Are Overpowering, Even...

Opening up the spice cabinet is overwhelming?? Loud noises are overwhelmingly painful or even soft noises are, too?? If so, what it the day after you did too much??

@A MyFibroTeam Member I totally understand. People always asked me why I wore sunglasses inside for the longest time.**hugs** I totally know what it is like to hear a super high register voice answer in class on bad days. And panic when someone had lots of perfume on in a classroom. College dorms sucked, too. I totally understand. We survived. 💪 I just didn’t know if I was going nuts because my senses are off the charts insane. 😂 Glad there’s others who understand, thank you.

Andrea🦋... yes I do get all those. I don’t vomit though. Hubby and I deliberately go to restaurants that aren’t crowded, because the noise for me is too much!

Yes, everything you mentioned. I wear sunglasses. Living in the college dorms was a nightmare. I felt really overwhelmed every time someone slammed a door. Also, I politely ask loud talkers to lower their voices when talking to me.

I don't drive at night as the glare from lights is blinding, I seem to have a keen sense of smell and I hate loud noises or crowds, is distressing and I want to escape it.

I do have days when any stimulation will make me feel ill. Bright lights flashing are always an issue as I get occular migraines which were at first scary but now I do not drive at night and if the tv show I'm watching has bright flashing lights I do something else for awhile. Smells are always a problem. On bad days noises can be overwhelming. All part of fibro. I've learned what I can tolerate and don't push past those limits.
