I'm not sure what it's called but a masseuse did a masarge in my mouth, gross but really helped with face pain the kind you cry from.
Carmazapine helped for a time but it did not mix well with other meds. Good luck I've found norotripyline is good for night pain. After 20+ years I've tried a few. 🙂

No, I've never heard of it. That doesn't mean much through, as new things are coming on the market every day!! I shay away from most things medical as the side effects, for me, are never worth it!!! I change my lifestyles - diet, exercise, stress control, writing things down, getting good sleep, enzymes, and a positive attitude!!!!

I've had issues like that with other meds and it sounds like you might be having some type of allergic reaction. I would call the doctor office to see if they can try something else. If it doesn't feel right don't take it, always trust your own body.
