Has Anyone Ever Tried Cryotherapy?
My daughter-in-law has fibromyalgia and just started doing cryotherapy (cold therapy). She said it helps her a lot. I don’t think I could do it because I’m very cold sensitive due to fibromyalgia and hypothyroid and I tend to get itchy and red from the cold. Has anyone else ever tried this?

Im like you - can't handle cold
I had cryotherapy once for PID but that’s it.
I’m w Catbell. I can’t tolerate cold bc of fibro, worsens my symptoms.
But how does it work for fibro? Do they apply the cold (I think it’s freeze dried ice?) on tender spots, or whole body?
Does it relieve fibro pain only? Or fatigue and other symptoms too?
I’ve heard of fibro massage and acupuncture, but not cryotherapy. Thanx for sharing. I’ll research. I’d like to learn more.
I can't handle the cold, it makes my muscles tense up more and causes worse pain. Heat therapy helps me except for my bursitis in my hips, those I am supposed to ice, but scared to because of the effect it will have on the rest of my body. I know we are all different with this condition and it amazes me sometimes how different we are. But if it works for her great. If you think it would harm you, stay away. I like to give everything at least a chance, but if I know cold makes me worse, I definitely won't go near this type of therapy. Gentle Hugs.
Oh my! Brrr 🥶
