My female doctors say it's hormonal changes due to aging and my male doctors attribute it to stress.

Never have I seen such a gender split on a medical diagnosis.

Every 7 years you will loose more, but if it's a lot, get it checked out. Hair loss can happen when you are pregnant, after you have the baby, if you've been sick or changed diet. Stress is a big culprit, so there are a lot of things that could be causing your hair loss.

Most of mine came out in a circular pattern starting on the right side rotating clear around to the left side. I was going to buy a wig, but then my hair started growing back, in the same pattern it fell out. Now it is back to the thickness it was originally. I do not know what made it fall out or what made it decide to grow back in. I was over 10 years after I went through menopause.
