These 2 wall exercises will release the tightness in your shoulders and chest. When done daily, you will see improvement in your range of motion and pain levels. Start with a tennis ball and then advance to a lacrosse ball over time.

I agree with Penelope. I started going to a chiropractor and she has really helped. She uses an instrument that helps to separate the vertebra. This isn't painful at all and I hated the rough cracking and manipulations that I have had done in the past. My medical coverage pays all but 20 dollars and it's so worth it. Good luck

I had horrible shoulder pain. I went to an orthopedic, he said I had thoracic outlet syndrome. He suggested physical therapy and If that didn’t work, surgery. The physical therapy was making the pain much worse, after 2 visits I knew had had to do something because I I did not want surgery so I started researching chiropractor’s. Before that I could never say the word chiropractor without the word quack following it. I found a very reputable well known chiropractor about an hour from our house. My insurance didn’t cover my visits at the time, but it was worth the money and the drive. My shoulders don’t hurt anymore. If I would have listened to that Orthopedic, I would have had unnecessary surgery. There are several quack chiropractors, but if you get a good one, they could help with some of your pain.
