Supplements Or Gentle Exercises
I'm looking for advice, I use a treatment called Amatzu (physio type) to keep my fibro under control but with the pandemic it's closed at the moment and my fibro is really flaring and very painful, especially in my legs & hands. My tailbone has popped out again which is always a sign my body is struggling
The only thing I do take is CBD oil, which I started on 3 months because my body was struggling to recover from Pneumonia and I'm finding it's not enough
Can anyone advice on what's best… read more
I am not sure if you have one, or can get a hold of one, but maybe a foam roller would help you. I have a client with fibro and told her to start using one over a year ago in between coming to me for massages and she says it has given her her life back. I use mine too for my fibro (not as often as I should) but one of the reasons I recommend them is that when you are rolling you are affecting your fascia and in some areas the periosteum. Those are two highly neurological tissues in the body that can help decrease any kind of pain you may have when worked properly. The Amatzu treatment you do affects the fascia as well. I offer a treatment at my clinic called RAPID neurofascial reset that would be similar and has helped people go from crippled to walking in two 30 minute sessions.
Could you try a palates video on you tube or some places are offering zoom classes for palates
Have you tried Tumeric supplements. If you do try, make certain it contains peperine as well.
Yoga is great
Yes I have access to my daughter's foam roller so will definitely try that.
I have regularly gone into treatment limping badly and come out nearly straight😁
I also managed to get a turmeric supplement so I'm trying that too.
I just prefer treatments that don't involve medications until I have no choice that is!
