A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭
Ontario, CA

Does anyone manage regular employment with fibro? I know their are different degrees of it but if one cannot
Take the medication so far what are they to do can’t work the whole series of symptoms and pain and tenderness.

Yes got denied but now lawyer has the case they told me you had to be
Terminally ill dying with cancer to get approved. That is false.
Hired a lawyer also. It’s to stressful to do it on your own.
But that’s great you caught the fight! Good for you fibro is not
Challenged enough it’s a terrible thing to have because of the range
Of symptoms. But yet some people get approved and work! And the
Ones that cannot work are getting denied.

I’ve done it but OMG! It was super difficult. I tried 2 times for disability in MA and got turned down. I tried again here (back in CT) and got it ~ BECAUSE I hired an atttorney. I’m still firmly convinced that trying for disability without an attorney is an exercise in frustration and futility.
Good Luck and God Bless!

Yes, I tried vitamins but they no longer work. Pacing yourself is what I did and got injured just doing very little ..not going down that road again. When you are sick more 5han you are working that should tell you something. Most part time do not get paid on days sick.
