Those of you using cannabis, what type helps most? There is Indica, Sativa, Hybrid, in tinctures, edibles, smoke, etc. What gives you relief and how?

I use the indica mostly for evenings so I can sleep. We've made canna cream and that worked well on muscles, joints, aches and pains. I try cooking with it as well as making cookies and brownies. It helps a lot with my anxiety

I forgot to answer your question about using indica vs sativa, and hybrid. Indica makes you more relaxed and euphoric, and possibly sleepy, in your entire body. There are many different strengths of CBD and THC in cannabis products. I don’t use the old name of marijuana, when I talk about it, I use the word cannabis, which is the actual name. Sativa is more of an energizer for being creative and artistic. It’s more in your head than a total body feeling. A hybrid is a little of both. I only use the gummies that I mentioned, during the day, one every four or five hours, and a vape cartridge with a higher THC for sleep. I was completely addicted to the pain meds, like hydrocodone and fentanyl patches, for over twenty years, while I was going to a pain management doctor. The opioids helped the pain, and I had several epidural injections along my spine but I started needing more and more of the meds, and it wasn’t helping anymore, I had to stop using them and wean off them, with the doctors help.
I was declared disabled in 2005, from nursing due to fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome, severe arthritis and osteoporosis, plus several other diagnoses. I’m not able to work as an RN, or any other job, and I’m able to be home most of the time, except for appointments. When I cannot take my gummies, I can wait until I get important things done, or appts, and I take Tylenol, which doesn’t really help much, but I get a little reduction in pain. CBD and THC work well together, and the CBD mitigates some of the side effects of the THC. I’ve studied cannabis most of my adult life, and there’s a lot of information to learn. I was extremely happy to find medicine that wasn’t going to kill me by accident, like the opioids were doing!
I hope that I helped at least one person. Gentle hugs. 🤗

Finding that perfect strain of marijuana is a personal thing. Everybody reacts differently. The best advice I can give, is to find a Budtender that you can trust, or search https://www.leafly.com/search?q=Fibromyalgia+, this is great site for educating yourself.

I myself use a bong, and micro dose throughout the day. I medicate with less than 1/8 of a tsp about 4-5 times daily. I prefer clear headed highs throughout the day and relaxing strains for nighttime.
Some of my favourite strains are;

https://www.leafly.com/strains/pennywise
https://www.leafly.com/strains/granddaddy-purple

It took me sampling over 50 strains until I found a handful that just work for my symptoms. Pink kush hit me so perfectly the first time I smoked it, that I actually felt normal….

The best cannabis that relieves my pain is a combination of CBD and THC in a 2:1 ratio of CBD to THC, at 200 mg and 100 mg. The product I take is a gummy, that I either take half of, or a whole one depending upon my pain level. At night I use a vape cartridge that has CBD and THC in in. It really helps me sleep. I live in MD.
