Fatigue
Have been suffering with fatigue all year, been to the GP who has done blood tests bit as usual come back normal. In the UK they have changed the referral criteria now and as I've already been diagnosed with fibro doesn't look like I get get any further help. I'm am drained, anyone had the same or any advice as I feel like I've hit a brick wall now
Yes Kaz, my fatigue really increases with stress and I have had a lot of it this year. Travelling, like getting up early then lots of walking in an airport, knocks me for six and I sleep for a couple of days when I get there. The only thing I have found is to pace myself. A burst of activity (on good pain days) then make myself stop.and relax. I curl up with a good book!!
I was always fatigued in the end I was diagnosed with CFS this is also associated with fibro.
It’s so frustrating,it seems once you have been diagnosed with fibro, whatever you have wrong with you, they put it down to fibro….
Fatigue is hard to cope with, but you need to identify what brings on or makes your Fatigue worse. Stress, anxiety, depression all adds to it, pacing helps me, when I over do it my Fatigue is worse. I hope this helps. 🤔
Thanks, no more stress in fact I've had less stress for the last 11 months now reducing my work load. Nothing else has changed in my life when this hit at the start of the year. Iron levels are fine, as I already take iron tablets.
I have been fatigued for as long as I can remember. I thought it would get better but it never did. About 6 months ago I was diagnosed as being severely anemic and was taking iron pills. That wasn't going to help considering how bad my numbers were and had an iron infusion. My numbers are way better bit I am still so fatigued.
