Does Anybody Get Terrible Night Sweats Every Night?

A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭
Miramar, FL

I’m 56, post menopase. Every night I wake up soaking wet , chest, thighs… I sleep with the AC on and hardly any covers.
Has anyone found a solution to help with night sweats? I am exhausted from
lack of sleep

The night sweats are not fun. I deal with that along with getting extremely hot during the day to the point I have to change clothes sometimes. I wish there was some advice I could share with you. I try to use an ice pack and put on my neck when going to sleep to try and help cool down. I also have an eye mask that I keep in the freezer so I can wear that at night since I get such horrible migraines. That might be something you could try if you haven’t already. Best of luck I hope someone can give you better advice.

I get head sweats....only from the neck up, but my hair will be completely wet underneath.

You can buy Mission towels that will work well around the neck. Wet them, wring them, snap them and apply. I use them in the garden too. About $12. Well worth the money to try to stay cool!
