Does Anyone Use Prescription Naproxen??
I'm getting away from prescription and over the counter drugs. Learning to forage for herbs, make tinctures, etc. Herbal teas help with pain. Certain tinctures for pain. I don't trust all the man-made chemicals with so many side effects. I'm using what God put on the earth and feeling so much better for it, both physically and mentally.
Jaycee, there are a few natural painkillers, but it takes a while for them to work. If you are used to taking pharmaceuticals with the instant relief they often give, with the side effects in tow, you will be disappointed to learn that natural pain killers are much slower to take effect. Don't get me wrongly here though. They will be working away in your system, but not giving the full observable benefit straight away - you will have to be patient and wait for a few weeks. Then you will probably ask yourself if you really need to take this medication at all, as your pain has reduced so much.
I can recommend for inflammation - quercetin, Vit E and omega-3. You will also have to avoid inflammatory foods. Check out this link for starters: https://www.health.harvard.edu/staying-healthy/...
I take Boswellia: link - https://www.healthline.com/health/boswellia
Turmeric is also highly favoured : link - https://www.hopkinsmedicine.org/health/wellness...
Once you start down the natural path you will find so many foods that are naturally anti-inflammatory as well as foods that help fight pain from a lot of sources.
I wish you all the best with this and hope to hear positive results in about 6 weeks or so.
Agree wholeheartedly Ridaniels!!! Pharmaceuticals are a source of untold side effects for which you will be prescribed other pharmaceuticals - and on and on it goes. My advice is not to start that dance at all. Leave pharmaceuticals on the shelf in the pharmacy and ONLY take nutraceuticals or eat/drink natural foods and herbs. I promise you, you will feel a lot better and will not need or want pain relievers. Been there, done that, so I have experience to guide me.
Not prescription, but I use over the counter. It's very effective and works quicker than ibuprofen for me , as well as is a bit stronger. I primarily use it during the extreme migraines.
This medication I've tried, but it didn't like me. Caused more GI troubles for me.
