People with fibro have so many symptoms of diseases that that doctors mis- diagnose us & give us meds that we can't tolerate. You're right, we need to very cautious & stand up for ourselves.

Yes all the side effects went away when I stopped evey statin prescribed(about 7 different ones over several years). The last one nearly killed me. I'll never take them again no matter what the doctors say. I know several people that took them too & they didn't have fibro. They got many of the same side effects too, which stopped when they stopped the drug.

Thanks,Mark, for that valuable information. It's something to discuss with my doctor---might get her off my back! Been hearing about my high cholesterol for almost 40 years---but not much help with fibro. Now I'm 82 & still looking at the green side of the grass! Go figure?

Thanks for answering my question. My doctors keep pushing me to try the same ones that made me deathly ill. Now I know it's not just me that had problems with these drugs. I'm sure there's more like me out there.
