Hi, Just Wondering What Strange Sensations People Experience In Their Head? Also Does Anyone Suffer With Chest Pain?
Sorry you're feeling this, Georgia, but nice to see you back on site. 🌹
I somewhat recently developed occipital neuralgia, which for me presents as an awful pain starting at the base of my skull and working its way thogh my jaw to my cheekbones, eye sockets and eyes. It feels like an electrified wire running through (which I guess makes sense since the occipital nerve is inflamed). It feels like a combination of a migraine and tension headache, the pain is both dull and sharp. I also occasionally get icepick headaches, which feel exactly like they sound, like someone is stabbing you in the brain with an icepick. Thankfully those don't last long and are just flashes of pain.
I'm sorry to hear this, Fran.🤗 For me the temple spikes seem to come with bright light. The dizziness and aching upper extremities seem to come from my neck injuries. All seems to wax and wane and has not become constant. Hope there is healing in store for you. 💜
Hi Linda this sounds more or less the same as me! My temples are painful and I get all sorts of pain all over my head/scalp sometimes stinging/burning sometimes sharp pains, sometimes just a niggling pain, I also get pains in my arms mainly left side very dull and achy at the top, and my neck often feels heavy, I also get a lot of dizziness x
I have ice pick stabs in the temporal sides of the head that are intermittent. The whole head burns and sometimes the skin reddens when I get upset or angry. Pulsating whoosh sound/sensations when I look upwards. The chest has constant sternal pressure and intermittent muscle spasms and rib pain with Costochondritis. What's your sensations, Fran? 💜
