Constance,
There are also insurance plans called Medicare Advantage plans. Some have no co-pay for doctor visits and no co-pays for medication. Call your insurance agent or ask if they know of one. Aetna and United Healthcare are two that I know of. It also depends on your income. Call the agency of aging; they may also know.
There's some places that are mail pharmacies nowadays.
Unless it's opiods/narcotics.
Maybe look around for them?
LesleyS2 I also priced it with GoodRx and they were $603.23/month. Also I need to update where I live but I'm now living in Estes Park, CO which is a small mountain community. We only have 1 private pharmacy and Safeway so it's hard to shop around and I don't want to be driving 2 hours to pick up medication.
Constance, sorry for my post above as I hadn't read this post yet.
My kiddo was using GOODRX pharmacy card/app when they had no job.
Um- you may also want to look at supplemental Medicare plans ? But I don't know anything about them. So I can't help with that
