Does Any Body Go To Pain Management For Fibromyalgia My Pain As Gotten So Bad Now I Can Just About Walk. And A Doctor Suggested It Thanks.
Sorry to hear that. I would try pain management & when that gets regulated ask for a physical therapy referral from the PM doc or PCP. Don't stop moving.
Yes I go for that and I have had 2 back operations and 7 joint operations. I am always in some degree of pain. I am on Cymbalta,Norco,Bupropion,Gabapentin and that still doesn’t kill it.
I have had so many treatments, the only thing that worked was flat hand massage, and infrared sauna
Look for a self management pain program. I did my class through zoom classes. I found the workshop very interesting
I had a pain management (uk) appointment for Costochondritis which I found interesting, I was also referred to them regarding chronic fatigue which they couldn't understand last year so that was left, but I could ring them back if needed. As my fibro pain is manageable at the moment just everything else falling apart. I would give it a try, the information I was given was useful, plus the information given at the chronic fatigue service has helped planned my days a little better.
