Who Else Has Zaps In The Back And Other Body Parts

They're called spasms and they are real. They go right along with fibro. They're not fun but the more stress you're under, the more you'll get the zaps you'll jerk real hard, the worse they get. They can radiate anywhere. They can go down your legs. They can start in your feet and go up. They can start in your middle section. They can start in your arms and go up your face and head cuz you'll feel it. Just have to keep calm. The calmer you are, the calm of your life can stay the less the spasms and zapping will be. There was an article that says fibromyalgia spasms are linked with seizures disorder so that's a new thing that I've learned about the spasms. I thought I was just having spasms or jerks and I was told I was having like a seizure and this article says that the spasms are basically a type of seizure.

My zaps are usually in my feet and shoulders… always surprising and not fun. At least they don’t last long!
