Does Anyone Else Have Raynaud's Syndrome In Their Hands & Feet ? Does Anyone Else Have Brain Fog ?

A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭
County Durham UK

Raynaud's Syndrome hurts me during the winter & cold damp days . I was given the diagnosis before I was given the diagnosis of fibromyalgia.
My Dad has just been diagnosed with Raynaud's Syndrome.
I'm wondering if Raynaud's Syndrome & Fibromyalgia is genetic? My youngest child whose a high functioning autistic has been diagnosed with ME.

There are times I'm in the middle of a sentence & I forget the word or sometimes I forget a string of words . It can be embarrassing at times too .

I have Renaud syndrome and expect it's from frostbite in the 80s.. I keep a pair of gardening gloves in the kitchen for rummaging in the freezer and cashmere mittens in my walker basket

OMGosh! I do the same thing, with the brain fog. It is terrible. Yes it is embarrassing. I thought it was me. Like early onset dementia. Thank you so much for sharing. I hope you have a better day today. We can only take each day as they come. We just never know where the fibro is going to hit us next. I have my main pain points but other parts of my body come and go. Do you get, ( I like to call them, "rolling cramps",), it is like those cramps you get in your calves, ( like a charlie horse),. I get them throughout my body. It is so painful. I will also get like numbness and tingling in areas of my body. The weird thing is. Is even though it is numb and tingly, I still get pain like just above the area. Anyways like I said I hope you have an awesome pain, with minimal pain.

Hi Ian
That sounds like Raynaud's Syndrome. I don't know if you live in the UK if you tell your electricity / gas provider you have Raynaud's Syndrome they will make sure you get extra payment if on benefits during the really cold months & they must not cut your gas off either .
Hope you have a good afternoon/ evening & weekend.
Blessings
Tanya

Oh Tanya,
You're officially one of us!
The fibro fog is one of the worst.... I used to be smart - really I did!
I laughed at the above comments, there are way too many "things"and whatchamagigs in our lives! 😂
I also have Raynaud's, cold water or weather just makes my hands and feet ache so bad 😢.
Thanks for the question ❤️
