Members overwhelmingly shared that they experience frequent dehydration and constant thirst, with many needing to drink water throughout the night and waking up with headaches from being parched. Several members offered creative hydration strategies, including adding citrus slices or electrolytes to water, using flavor enhancers like Mio (while cautioning about sugar alternatives that can cause digestive issues), trying scented water bottles that trick the tastebuds, and using marked water bottles to track intake and turn hydration into a motivating challenge. A recurring theme was that medications often contribute to dry mouth and increased thirst, making it essential to find enjoyable ways to stay hydrated beyond plain water.

Yes! I drink a lot, plain water works for me. Part of my thirst comes from the drugs I take…dry mouth!

Ms IrishWife, I asked while back what ppl put in their water to add some flavor or what have you.

Most I saw were things like slices or juice of all the citrus fruits. Lemon, lime, orange

There's also water infusers now a days

I also saw several mention electrolytes in various forms and flavors they add to their water to help hydrate better and faster

The next one was the many flavor things in grocery store from mio to many other brands. But be careful cuz some are extra sugar and/or remember sugar free or zero sugar often means sugar alternatives and they can cause diarrhea among other gastro problems if used too much

I have seen some new water bottles on the market , I think one is circle and you basically get flavor pack things but it can change between no flavor and crazy flavor but I've no idea how much that'd run you.

There's also another water bottle being pushed right now.
It's a scented thing that goes on top so you smell the flavor and therefor kinda tricks your tastebuds into thinking your water is that flavor but I've no idea if it actually works or how much or anything. Just saw both these bottles being pushed a lot recently.

To the point There's knock off ones already lol

Oh!

One last idea I saw a lot.
Besides getting fluids in other ways like all the sport drinks (gatorade etc) , pedialyte and even tea

Is getting a water bottle that is marked. It'll show you how much your drinking and you can even turn it into a challenge or game. I've seen many ppl when looking this all up say it helped them

Hope any of this helps you , my friend. Or anyone else really.

If you guys hear of any more-
Please let me know.

Oh just thought of one more

Flavored ice cubes. Even ones with fruit in them. So as the melts you get to change up to flavor without having to change out your bottle or whatever

Yes. But, I really can tell whether I’m thirsty or not. I need something that will help me drink more water too. God bless!
