How Do You Handle Flair Ups And Work/life?
When I feel my normal, I have a pain 4/10 and mild fatigue. I can be mom, work full time, socialize... that last flair up I could only manage to work about a 25 hour work week, and was completely unable to function otherwise. Had to limit or back out of a lot of plans. I found I could only function about 4 hours before I would need to lay down and rest for 1-2 hours then could participate in life again for a bit.
Maybe if anything happens to my current job I should anfle for a remote job. Just not sure how I can build their trust in my work ethic and if I have a flair up work it so I still have a job and support to rest when needed as I have in this job.
I had to stop working outside the home. I volunteered for a while and would like to get back to it but I haven't found the right thing yet. I stopped working because fibro was hitting me at the same time diabetic gastroparesis was. Luckily I got SSD and now just get social security. I wish you all the best. I used to spend alot of time in bed when I worked outside the home because I had so much fatigue. My husband was and is a saint!
I was still on that hamster wheel working in SN care when support was needed.
It took a while to get heard, which seems to happen for many 😔
I hope you can get more support as it does catch up 🤗
