Hi Joanne, welcome to the club?
Sorry you're dealing with all this. I've tried cymbalta twice and had to stop because of awful side effects.
I take gabapentin but I know some have trouble with it.
I try to manage best I can with diet, exercise as able, trying positive thoughts, whatever works for YOU .
Now I also take muscle relaxant at night (tizanadine) for leg/foot cramps and recently started trazadone. I guess it's mostly for anxiety? But really helps me sleep. As my Dr said "it doesn't make you sleep, it lets you sleep" by shutting down all the crazy thoughts in your brain πŸ˜‰ I'm able to not focus on what I should have done, need to do tomorrow, things from my childhood πŸ˜–. I found I can only take half the prescribed dose (so 25 mg) or I'm too tired the next day.
We all have similar problems, but every "body" is different. Hope you find what works for you, and others might have the perfect answer. Hugs,
Deb 😘

I tried Cymbalta only 30mg twice a day to start. I could not tolerate even this Joanne. Made me tired all day and I generally felt unwell. I stuck it out for six weeks then I had to give up. Take care.

I take Venlefaxen ( Effexor) . It works really well for me. Unfortunately I am unable to handle trazodone as I wake up at 3am with a bad headache. We just need to keep trying things to find what works and doesn’t make you feel worse. Good luck.

Hi! I was on LDN (low dose Naltrexone) with really good results from fibro pain but it kinda stopped working as well, and most of my severe pain has nothing to do with fibro. ☹️ But I was amazed at how well it worked for fibro pain for me! Hugs,
Deb 😘
