Bessie, I walk and do guided meditations for pain. I have stretches that I do and a muscle gel that helps. Mine is more muscular 5han anything else. Plus I have osteoarthritis and bursitis in both my hips.

How coincidental, I just ordered Biofreeze online yesterday and it's coming today so I'll see how much it helps. I'm sure I must have used it in the past. I've tried everything I think but I can't find it and it would be too old anyway 💓 actually the one I ordered is called bio freeze overnight relief gel

Basically I'm trying to find out if there's anything that can be done for my hip or low back so I can get a decent night's sleep because having the cervical problems causes me to have to sleep on my back and that causes a lot of pain because of the hip, low back issue. I am sensitive to drugs. I'm also trying to find a way to travel to see my sister-in-law in Oregon and I can't do it right now so that's why I'm looking into options. Anyway I'll see the pain management doctor in another week and he can explain the test results and I'll decide if I want to continue seeing him or not. I did mention a patch to him because I read what she said but I think that is a very strong opiate or something and he gave me a funny look and asked if I wanted to be all those kind of drugs. Maybe when he gets to know me better when I'll make a decision about that. And also if she's able to function on it maybe I would be able to function, I don't know but I just know that I'm very sensitive . I don't have the answers right now. Your body is in a different situation I think you said you have a very extreme case of fibromyalgia so definitely what works or doesn't work for me maybe different for you. Physical Therapy requires commitment. I think it does help me. Sometimes it's the actual physical therapy location. Not all physical therapy locations are the same. The one I just started with is huge and there's a lot of space and I like that. Also I get some one-on-one time with an actual physical therapist for about 30 minutes before he sends me to work with a trainee. Good luck. I hope you find what works for you. Let me know. @A MyFibroTeam Member

@A MyFibroTeam Member I'm not weaning myself off of hydrocodone. I don't even like hydrocodone. I have just have it for emergencies from my pcp. All it does is put me to sleep. I'm not able to get anything done if I even take a small amount. The only time I been using it in recent times was if I'm sitting in a car as a passenger and the seat belt starts to really bother my neck or some part of my body after a long ride and I just can't stand it or if I have a really bad knife like feeling piercing into me which means a nerve. I usually have to get the car to stop and walk around and stretch. I have a lot of ligament laxity and I have to stretch. But if I'm not in a situation that's causing horrible pain then I don't use it. Having a bad spine mostly means that I'm weak and I get tired easily and can't do that much. Having a narrowed disc in the neck just means my arm is weak and is affecting my shoulder Etc and I can't use my right arm too much. I tried LDN and it didn't do anything for me. I hope the muscle relaxer helps you. I'm surprised that you're just getting one now. In the past I've tried every single one I think and I don't like any of them only because I don't like anything that makes me feel less energetic the next day than I already feel.
