Hi lucy10. Me again. I've not been able to lay on my side ..any of them for few years now because I get chest pains..so my doctors reply was..well don't lay on your sides then..😥 so I have had to get used to staying half propped up on my back..but I've never had dizziness. Carole

I was diagnosed with BPPV. A strange vertigo when I rolled left to turn off my bedside lamp…and a vigilant doctor solved this one for me. There are exercises to help with this. Basically, if a police officer were to check my eyes, they find a twitching that is present in people who have consumed an over abundance of alcohol. I have it constantly. A sudden movement of my head can set the room spinning. My exercises involve moving my head while focusing on a spot I stick to a wall. It helps…and I reorient quicker when dizziness strikes. Keeping my head steady using the headrest, and checking mirrors when driving lessens attacks on the road.

I’m grateful it’s on my medical records. I don’t drink and drive. I only consume a couple alcoholic drinks in any month, all in the safety of my home or with a designated driver at a restaurant. I would likely fail a sobriety test - so the best idea is to not get in that situation.

Hi Lucy10

It’s so awful! I’ve had this experience a few times in my life so far and it’s just so debilitating 😵‍💫 if I toss and turn and move my head to turn over to quickly in bed it sets off BPPV🤢 I found Kwells anti sickness tabs for motion sickness helped me through my last episode.

Also shouting PLEASE STOP! whilst curled up with my forehead touching something helped! Recommend by our PeterPlant!💙👌🏼😂

There are steps to follow on Google to try to ease your symptoms😘

I hope you have help whilst your going through this🙏 hopefully it settles soon💗

Sending you love & hugs Lucy10 xx
