When I first wake up I do some deep breathing and I drink a full glass of water! After sleeping we need to do these two things. We to breath and we need to add to the H2O we lost during sleep!

Morning stiffness and pain are Hallmark symptoms of fibromyalgia. That was actually the symptom that caused my PCP to suspect I have fibromyalgia and lead to the testing that got my diagnosis. When I get at my worst I cannot walk in the morning and sometimes I can't get around without a cane or a wall (which is what concerned my doctors). I started doing gentle stretching in bed, before I even sit up and stretching all the way out of bed which has calmed it for me but it never goes away.

I cannot move in morning. And as for my brain working well that does not happen
I need a good hour after I wake up and then I am ready for a 10 minute task and a rest after.
