Can Fibromyalgia Cause Hyper Mobility?

A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Earlier, in late afternoon I could not make a fist with my left hand. It’s not 100 percent but still hurts. Anyone else get this in one hand?
God bless!

I am dealing with pain and no strength in my left hand. I found a hand brace helps to not move it as much when working. It tones the pain down but does nothing for strength

I think it is more likely that fibromyalgia is occurring along with undiagnosed hypermobility/ EDS. 💙

My hands get very painful and stiff w cold weather. Try the copper infused compression gloves att night. They do help some!

Hi. I can't make a fist, both my hands become very tight. I just looked this up, and it says fibromyagia can cause hand pain, stiffness and a decreased grip due to lack of strength and stiffness. Sending hugs. Carole.
