It did for me for a while, a few yrs, then it stopped. I tried to get back on it but it didn't work anymore. It's also the easiest on the stomach since i have stomach sensitivity.

Vera, I also have a sensitive stomach. I took prescription famotidne while taking meloxicam.

Can’t say it was the famotidne or not, but it did not bother my stomach.

I also didn’t have any luck with meloxicam, but that doesn’t mean anything for anyone else. 🙃

My husband was prescribed this medication for after surgery nerve pain syndrome around his eyes. Non steroid anti inflammatory drug (prescription needed). He had to take one every 12 hours for two weeks . Very important exactly follow the instructions. It interrupts the repeated pain cycle (constant pain for 3 months in his case. It worked! He is pain free. Has been 2 years now. I haven’t tried it yet because I have very sensitive stomach and this medication might cause stomach problems. I am glad it worked for you.
