Mine have always been low - 14 in 2008. I have been on 50000 unit Vit D protocol on a regular basis because my body will not absorb it. I finally got my level to a 27 last fall - highest it has ever been. I found using liquid supplements work better which is how I managed to get my level up along with the script.

I have had low D for years. I also have too much calcium, so no extra vitamin! Low D is often caused by lack of sun also. I have to spend more time in the sun! Hope you work it out!

Yes I have been checking mine for the past six months and they are very low. Started out on 50,000 units once a week by mouth and I have now moved on too injection. Waiting to see if the injections work.
