I'm frustrated! Still weening off the neurontin & feeling crappy with night sweats, RLS, all over body restlessness & achiness. Reumatologist has no suggestions on how to manage pain throughout the weening process. Desperately need to figure something out soon before returning to work in 2 weeks!! I can barely move yet need to care for 2 kids, 2 cats, a hubbie, a house, & a job‼️‼️‼️
Have you tried going to see a pain management doctor ? I don't know what I would do without him , he has been my lifesaver. Sometimes my legs hurts so bad so I get injections and they last for over a year and for restless legs I take clonazepam and that really helps ,let me know if you need anymore help
You need to go to you’re primary care doctor and ask him to refer you to a pain management doctor or institute like me. They will give you Lyrica 200 mg twice a day, cymbalta 30 mg twice a day and Hydrocodone 5/200 mg ibuprofen 3 or twice a day and ibuprofen 600mg twice per day. Iam a registered nurse for 25 years and a case manager for hospice.now I’m disable. I can’t work anymore. I take Lyrica 300mg twice a day and I take 2 Fibrolief with it. I take cymbalta 60 mg twice per day and whit the Fibrolief I don’t have to take the hydrocodone every day because the Fibrolief work with the Lyrica. My main problem is the arthritis specially in the spinal cord.i have a procedure call a Rizotomy, it’s that the doctor burn the nerves of the spine on the lower Back. I can’t sleep well and I have relaxation music for sleep and it works. Acupunture it’s my next step and the last. My best friend like the Acupunture better and he didn’t feel the pain for one year.good luck and a hug.
If you can find anyone in your area that deals with and sells Young Living Essential oils, could help. There is a recipe for deep pain relief cream in a jar or the same in a roller bottle. Both have helped me greatly with pain from a fibromyalgia. Secondly, they can make a cream for your restless leg syndrome. You apply it to the soles of your feet. I've found it to work well when nothing else has helped.
Out of curiosity what is Fibrolief?
Thank you @A MyFibroTeam Member! I appreciate the feedback.
