Its to stop pain. You should have gotten a paper with all the information on it, when you got it from ypur pharmacy. It should have all the ingredients on the paper. If you need more information your pharmacist has been through many years of schooling for this so they should know everything you need to know good luck.

The bomb! It's a prescription topical pain reliever that works really well. I have found it to ease fibro pain, even if some docs don't agree that it will! Also good for relaxing a muscle cramp. Gel dries fast and I highly recommend it for localized pain if you can get it.

I have used it and I find it does not work for me at all it helps my husband with the normal joint of muscle pain, but not me unfortunately nothing ... Everyone is different though never hurts to try

I am also allergic to NSAIDs. My face swells and I have asthma attacks when I take them. APN prescribed Voltaren gel, 2 grams 4 times a day. Pharmacist called and talked to them about it. They didn't think it would cause any problems, since I will be putting it on my elbow. That was 3 weeks ago and I still haven't used it because I am afraid of the side effects.
