oddly, my GP put me on prozac (mild dose) for my menopause issues. It does help with the night sweats, the hot flashes, and my mood. It also seems to help with the fatigue and stress of FM. I haven't heard it used for FM but it seems to be a fairly common script for menopause issues.

Oh yes! change of life really plays havoc on a person and their fibro. Especially Brain Fog and irritability. We are having major hormone fluctuations to deal with along with hot flashes and night sweats. One minute your roasting and you cant get cooled off and then the next your freezing. Its enough to drive a person crazy. I am 52 so I can relate to what your saying. Hang in there as this will soon pass once we get through the change. Hard to tell though what the symptoms are caused from Fibro or Menopause. Just know your not alone Lyndsey.
