Have You Been Tested For SAD?

A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭
Trumbull, CT

After going through about two months of horrible stomach pain, my sister asked me whether or not I've been tested for Seasonal affective disorder
Also called: SAD, seasonal depression. She told me that it is common in most fibromyalgia patients. Is this really true? And has anyone got tested for SAD?

@A MyFibroTeam Member - Are you still trying to get pregnant? I would have my tummy checked by my OB/GYN doctor.
If you still have the pains in your stomach - get it checked out, Hon.

I have a new keyboard now. My grandson is going to check to see if he can scan the new picture. I have an updated one..

I have SAD was diagnosed way before the fibro was, I know when the winter months draw in the cold affects my body more, more pain hence more depressed I bought a SAD lamp but I still feel so tired + zombie like, I've started taking vitamin d too as I hear us fibro's lack it + I have had low counts at docs before, probably from rotting in bed most the time

I have been taking vitamin D for about two years now. And as for my stomach I've had both a endoscopy and colonoscopy, CT scan, and ultrasound. And nothing has comes up besides inflammation. So the next step is to have a pill camera insert to see my small intestine.
